Frequently asked questions

Not by default — from Monday to Tuesday counts as 1 day, like most calculators. Turn on "Include end date" to count both the first and last day, which is common for rentals, leave or event durations.

Business days are Monday to Friday between the two dates. Public holidays vary by country and aren't subtracted, so deduct any that apply to you.

There's no February 31, so the result is clamped to the last day of February (28th or 29th). The same rule applies to any month-end date.

No. Dates are compared as calendar days, not hours, so a clock change never adds or removes a day.

Yes. The difference is still shown, marked as being in the past, so you can count back from a deadline or anniversary.
